What is your copper cathode specification?
Our copper cathode is LME Grade A electrolytic copper — 99.99% Cu minimum purity, produced to ASTM B115 and BS EN 1978 international standards. Each cathode sheet measures approximately 914 × 914 mm with a thickness of 8–12 mm and weighs approximately 125 kg (±1%). Sheets are bundled in lots of approximately 1–2 MT, secured with aluminium strapping, and palletised for safe container loading. A Certificate of Analysis confirming chemical composition and weight is provided with every shipment. LME-registered brand cathodes are available on request.
What copper products do you export?
Our primary export product is LME Grade A Copper Cathode (99.99% Cu). We also supply Mill Berry (ISRI BARLEY), copper wire scrap (ISRI CLIFF/PALM), bare bright copper, copper pipe and tube, insulated copper cable, brass, aluminium, and electric motors — all in bulk container quantities. Full grades, purity levels, and MOQ details are in the specifications table above.
Where does your copper cathode originate from?
We source LME Grade A copper cathode from certified smelters and refineries in South America, Africa, and North America — all of which operate under internationally recognised environmental and labour standards. Full documentation of origin, including Certificate of Origin issued by the US Chamber of Commerce, is provided with every shipment. Buyers can request specific origin documentation at the time of order.
What is the minimum order for export?
The minimum export order is 1 × 20ft FCL (approximately 22–24 metric tonnes of copper, depending on grade and form). A 40ft FCL holds 26–28 MT. Containers can be loaded with a single grade or a mix of grades in one shipment. First-time buyers are welcome to start with a single trial container before committing to long-term supply contracts.
How is pricing determined?
All copper prices are referenced to the London Metal Exchange (LME) daily settlement price, quoted in USD per pound (lb). Our margin is transparent and consistent at a given volume tier — larger contracted volumes attract better pricing. Price is confirmed at time of purchase order, with the final invoice based on the weighed and certified outgoing quantity. Which Incoterms do you support?
We offer FOB PortMiami (free haulage from our Doral facility included on full container loads), as well as CIF and CFR to most destination ports worldwide. Port Everglades, JaxPort, and Port Tampa Bay are available at flat inland freight. All Incoterm options include full export documentation. Let us know your preferred port and Incoterm when requesting a quote.
What are your payment terms?
For new international buyers, standard terms are 30% advance TT with 70% payable against shipping documents (Bill of Lading, Certificate of Origin, Packing List, Weight Certificate). Established buyers with a proven order history may qualify for Letter of Credit (LC) at sight or NET 30 open account terms, subject to credit approval. We do not offer deferred payment on first orders.
What export documentation do you provide?
Every shipment includes: Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Weight and Tally Certificate, Certificate of Origin (US), and a Grade Certificate aligned to ISRI classifications. A Certificate of Analysis (chemical composition and purity) is available on request, typically at additional cost. All documents are provided in English and can be apostilled or legalised for buyer's country requirements on request.
What is the lead time from order to shipment?
From confirmed purchase order and deposit receipt, standard lead time to vessel loading is 3–7 business days for stocked grades. Typical sailing times are 3–5 days to Latin America and the Caribbean, 18–28 days to Asia, and 12–18 days to Europe from PortMiami. We confirm the vessel schedule and estimated arrival at time of booking.
Can we arrange pre-shipment inspection?
Yes. We work with SGS, Bureau Veritas, and Cotecna — internationally recognised third-party inspection agencies. They can inspect, weigh, sample, and certify the goods at our Doral facility prior to container loading. Inspection costs are typically borne by the buyer. Please notify us at the time of order so we can schedule access.
Which countries do you ship to?
We export worldwide. Primary markets include Latin America (Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Dominican Republic, Peru), Asia (China, India, Vietnam, South Korea), the Middle East (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Turkey), and Europe (Germany, Spain, Italy). If your country is not listed, contact us — we ship to most destinations with active container service from PortMiami or Port Everglades.
Can we mix grades in one container?
Yes. Mixed-grade containers are available on request — for example, copper cathode combined with Mill Berry, or wire scrap with brass, in a single 20ft or 40ft FCL. Each grade is weighed, documented, and invoiced separately. Contact us with your required grades and quantities and we will advise on compatibility and loading.
